Desmond Dekker played at my local university (Leeds) earlier this month. We saw the posters and planned to go but messed up the dates and missed it.
15 days later the man is DEAD. Last gig he did too.

Gutted. Got a few of his albums and would have loved to have seen him. As Rancid say, “Through our music, we can live forever…” so the body may have gone but his spirit will live on.
