Script idea 1

eric: Where've you been for the last 3 days?
richard: I've been working on a new project. A FSF "code protection system".

richard: it'll be on all our distribution CDs. It scans the hard disk of the developer and automatically publishes their GPLed changes to the internet, whether they like it or not.
eric: It sounds to me like this will end in disaster

last pane, excerpt from a written letter from the fsf (a month later):

To our valued developer,

You may be aware of the recent attention given to the FSF rootkit.
We have learned that we made a serious error in it's distribution.

To rectify this terrible GPL compliance mistake, please find enclosed
the full source code of the rootkit.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause...

Script idea 2

eric: hey, did you hear Sony got busted installing rootkits on users' machines?
richard: yeah, I did. Enforcing the status quo is a risky business. I was telling Linus about it too.

richard: oddly enough, he got nervous and said he had something important to do then ran up to his room.
eric: strange behaviour, even for a European code fag.

richard: he mentioned needing to back out a Kernel changeset from a First4Internet developer or something
eric: *sigh* I hope he signs off my CML3 patch whilst he's up there...
