This rough script has a slight 'Linux Zealot' feel to it
script 1
1: (Something involving the 'lack of games for Linux'. Maybe it could involve a guest appearance by John Carmack.) Setting: Linux conference. Carmack: It really is a shame that open source developed a high-quality open source engine. 2: Linus: (comments that he is still kept busy playing Prince of Persia under Dosbox/Wine) RMS: ? (Emacs games; maybe he could be absent) ESR: I’m a hard-core gamer from ten years before you were born, and my expectations weren’t formed by computer games. I don’t do twitch games at all, and fancy graphics don’t interest me much. Gimme interesting game logic and repeated play value, and I’m happy. 3: (Flashback to 70's, Eric and others playing Dungeons & Dragons) DM: (addressing ESR): Lazarus, you failed your reflex saving throw, and the Goblin's Magic Quarrel of Wounding pierces your heart, doing 30 damage and killing you instantly. 4: Hallway: (DM fleeing while Eric pursues him with something (a wooden sword? a real gun?)) ESR: Come back here and let me roll a Perfect 20 on yo ass! ESR (present-day commentary in bubble at bottom-right): Of course I was always more of a fan of LARP.

Stallman quote (which could comprise an entire strip) - http://www.stallman.org/archives/2005-sep-dec.html#07%20December%202005%20(People%20who%20play%20violent%20video%20games)
Great Picture of ESR (that could be used for D&D scene) -
For space reasons, Scenes 1 and 2 could be combined.
It is not the funniest strip. It would help if someone could find quotes from Carmack regarding open source and games and quotes from Linus (and maybe Stallman) about gaming. Also, it would be best to tie in the 'interesting game logic and repeat play value' a bit more.
