Eric Raymond; I edited my How to be a Hacker document. It keeps up with the times. C# is now an acceptable language since a free implementation is avalable. RMS: Get with the times Raymond, GNU/Linux is now easy to install and everyone should use free software, hacker or not. Eric Raymond: Why should I care if people use Linux? RMS: It is GNU/Linux, it is important that you give the GNU project its due. Eric Raymond: But they didn't develop Mono. RMS: It is a good thing we didn't. It is hard to write free software when you are feeling ill. Eric Raymond: Oh, so that is why you gave up hacking. Too much rich food does that to you.
